The company behind an exciting new product which allows people to experiment with making coffees from all over the world in the comfort of their own kitchens is targeting the huge Scandinavian market.
Scandinavia is the biggest coffee drinking region in the world and visitors to the prestigious World of Coffee event in Gothenburg, Sweden, will be given the chance to find out more about the COFFEEASY™.
COFFEEASY™, which is made by Leeds-based Coffeeasy Ltd, allows people to make high quality filtered coffee and experiment with the huge influx of coffee blends increasingly available from around the world, in the way they that have seen professional baristas do.
Among the distributors for the COFFEEASY™ is well-known UK company Has Bean Coffee and recently-appointed specialist Scandinavian company Espresso Gear, both of whom will be at the Gothenburg event between June 16-18.
Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden occupy four out of the top six spots in the table of coffee-drinking nations, consuming between 8 and 12kg per head each year, and Patrick Joseph, who founded COFFEEASY™ hopes that its presence in Gothenburg will raise its profile in Scandinavia
The company, which launched the product at the recent London Coffee Festival, is already building up an international following and Patrick said: “Scandinavia is the biggest coffee drinking region on the planet. The people living there absolutely love their coffee and having the opportunity to showcase COFFEEASY™ at the World of Coffee event is an excellent opportunity for us.
”We had lots of positive feedback since our launch in London. People describe COFFEEASY™ as ingenious and stylish and we have already sold to customers from Turkey, Dubai and Holland and are experiencing serious interest from the United States, Canada and Australia.”
COFFEEASY™ taps into the growing ‘third wave coffee’ trend, a global movement which regards high-quality coffee as artisan, like wine and cheese, rather than a bulk-buy commodity. The device is highly versatile and works with various drip brewers, including the Hario V60, Kalita Wave and the ever-popular Aeropress.
With COFFEEASY™, buyers get everything they need to start making coffee and the company recently added a simple filter cone and papers, so all they need is a kettle and some coffee, any coffee. The product comes complete with a measuring scoop and a clip to re-seal the bag after use to protect the coffee from going stale.
COFFEEASY™ is also friendly to the environment because it does not rely on aluminium coffee capsules which end up in landfill. You only boil the amount of fresh water you need for each brew without the electric cafetiere staying switched on all day.
COFFEEASY™ is available to buy online from Has Bean Coffee, Omega, Caffe Society, Hope and Glory and Grey Seal Coffee . RRP £49.90. Find out more about COFFEEASY™ by visiting www.coffeeasy.com
