A creative design project carried out for a car pageant has illustrated the variety of work being successfully delivered by a thriving North East business.
Print & Mail Runner, which is based in Hexham, Northumberland, and specialises in managing print and direct mail marketing campaigns, was asked to produce a variety of materials for the pageant staged in St John’s Wood High Street in London on Sunday 22nd June.
The event featured a range of Classic & Super Cars plus family entertainment and Print & Mail Runner provided everything from leaflets to designs for a photographic attraction with a distinct Top Gear theme.
The attraction gave visitors the chance to have their picture taken with figures bearing an uncanny resemblance to recently dismissed Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson and driver The Stig.
It was another example of the range of work undertaken by the company, which was established by print and direct marketing expert Alastair Smith, who worked in the industry in increasingly senior positions for fourteen years before setting up his business.
He said: “The work for the car pageant showed how complicated some jobs can be and we are noticing that clients increasingly want just one point of contact.
“They do not want to run round getting print from one company, design from another, marketing from a third.
“They want one point of contact who can deliver it all for them, which makes a lot of sense.
“We were that contact with the pageant and the photographic attraction was fun to work on. It was a bit out of the ordinary and the end result was a popular attraction.”
