Purpose of the post:
To develop digital marketing sales through our digital marketing platform www.be-everywhere.co.uk
Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A track record in field sales
- A solid understanding of social media and advertising
- The ability to understand the needs for clients to communicate and engage with new customers to gain competitive advantage.

Responsible for:
- Increasing revenue through full service digital marketing package sales using the Be-Everywhere product.
Principle Duties:
- Generate revenue streams for Distinctive.
- Expand the existing customer base.
Additional Duties:
- Adhere to all issued department and individual standards of performance weekly/monthly/quarterly
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within a defined industries
- Utilise marketing and feature information to optimise sales opportunities
- Prioritise workload to ensure maximum time spent on sales activity
- Utilise sales techniques to maximise and generate incremental revenue
- Learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our media, competitors, marketing and the market place
- Develop and implement new ideas/features to generate new or extra business
Plan the achievement of sales targets
- Target projection sheets to be completed and handed to line manager
- Review, report progress and project actual performance against target daily/weekly/monthly
- Complete sales diaries daily online via in house CRM system
Contribute to the Sales Team by demonstrating professionalism and sales best practice at all times
- Adhere to all issued department and individual standards of performance weekly/monthly/quarterly
- Attend all training and development sessions and participate fully. Take responsibility for own learning by actively seeking out training and development opportunities
- Update Management of any issues, including competitor activity, that may affect the performance of the department
- Contribute to meetings in a constructive manner
- Deputise for other colleagues in their absence
- Share knowledge, information and experiences to improve department performance
- Provide reports as required
- Actively develop constructive and effective working relationships with other teams within the department and Company and discourage destructive attitudes and behaviours
- Carry out other designated duties or tasks in the interests of the Company
Ensure excellent customer service standards are achieved
- Demonstrate a high standard of business practice and ethics at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Take action to avoid potential problems or resolve with solutions that best fit the customer and department needs
Complete all administrative tasks as per department and Company requirements
- Complete all administration in accordance with departmental procedures
- Provide written reports as and when requested
- Respond to all correspondence, enquiries, customer complaints or credit requests within 24 hours of receipt
Working Relationships:
Responds to the requirements of the Distinctive management team. Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff at all levels throughout Distinctive Publishing, those of other departments and external contacts as necessary.
Location:
Primary location: Home Based – Some head office meetings required in Newcastle.
Attendance:
The agreed post is full time, 40 hours per week.
